  • INTRODUCTION

Since psychoanalytic training is a long, vigorous, and highly in-depth process which requires an extensive psychological,

financial, and time commitment, the admissions evaluation is careful and detailed. However, this process also offers the

applicant ample opportunity to inquire and discuss the nature of the training and to explore the appropriateness of the

training to his or her life and professional goals.
