EXTRA-CURRICULAR CLASSES
One of the activities of the Extra-Curricular Committee is the provision of complementary and advanced classes in the
field of psychoanalysis or psychoanalytic psychotherapy and or in related fields for the students of the Institute which
can be voluntarily attended. Any of the students, instructors, faculty members or members of this Committee of the
Institute can initiate such classes which can begin to work after the approval by the Extra-Curricular Committee. The
Chair of the Extra-Curricular Committee is one of the students of the Institute selected by the Education Committee.
STUDY GROUPS
Another activity of the Extra-Curricular Committee is the encouragement of the formation of study and work groups
which can be formed by at least two Active, Affiliated, or Student Members of the Institute and or a combination of
those in order to study a specific area in psychoanalysis or a field related to it, and then to attempt to publish their
results. Such Groups must be approved by the Extra-Curricular and the Education Committees.
