Welcoming New Associate Faculty Member: Babak Roshanayee, MD, psychiatrist and Candidate in psychoanalysis from the US, began his cooperation with TPI in the Fall Semester of 2011 as an Instructor. Subsequent to this period of successful cooperation and approval by the Education Committee he has now been appointed as an Associate Faculty Member. He is most welcome!

Welcoming New Honorary Member: Shahrokh Alimoradian, MD has joined TPI as an Honorary Member of the “Psychoanalysis in Dialogue with Arts and Humanities” Committee—thus honoring all TPI Members.
TPI International Membership: In November 2011, subsequent to almost a year-long evaluation of our documents, CV’s and a site visit by Dr. Berle, International Federation of Psychoanalytic Societies (IFPS) granted membership to TPI as a “Study Group” as the first step toward Full Membership. Accordingly, Active Members, Graduates and Students of TPI are now considered as members of the IFPS.

Psychoanalysis in Critique: A new series of lectures will soon be presented which will critique psychoanalysis from the viewpoints of different disciplines. Such viewpoints will be lectured by prominent academicians in fields such as CBT, short-term psychoanalytic psychotherapy, hermeneutics, psychiatry, neuroscience, sociology, and spirituality.
